In the Mind’s Eye

This show marks the first time I ever met other artists that had visual impairments and for me it was incredible. I enjoyed talking with the other artists and hearing about their experiences and their art techniques. April Sullivan of the VSA put the show together and did her usual phenomenal job. The show was held at the University of Texas in Arlington’s gallery. A place of higher education focused on broadening people’s perceptions – I couldn’t think of a better place to have a show comprised of visually impaired artists.
